Ole Miss Mascot

The University of Mississippi got rid of it's old mascot in 2003...this guy. They got rid of him because they felt it was a bit too old south (or is it ole south?). The school is now having a vote for what the new mascot will be. So far Colonel Akbar is one of the leading contenders. Who is Colonel Akbar? None other than this dude...

If this does become their official mascot I will forever be a fan of Ole Miss. Colonel Akbar is a Star Wars character, famous for this line...
