Football picks #6

So to start this off, both of my fantasy football teams are going to lose this week. Last week I went 9-5, which is a big improvement over last week. This brings the total record to 37-35, BAM! I am back to being over .500. Since I am now rolling, here are my picks for this week.
St.Louis (+3) over Cleveland
Chicago (-5) over Detroit
Indianapolis (-7) over Carolina
NY Giants (-9.5) over Miami
Tennessee (-7.5) over Oakland
Minnesota (+1) over Philadelphia
Pittsburgh (-3.5) over Cinncinati
NY Jets (-3) over Buffalo
San Diego (-9) over Houston
Tampa Bay (-4) over Jacksonville
New Orleans (-3) over San Francisco
New England (-16.5) over Washington
Denver (-3) over Green Bay

I tried to have a picture at the top but I couldn't get it to work, sorry.

Throwing Down the Gauntlet

OR: Is that a CHALLENGE!?!

Yes, it has been over a fortnight since I have posted. Yes, that is lame. Yes, I am sorry. But it is time for me to kick some ass and take some names. This week I will join Stefan’s little “football picks” game and prove that I am a superior being. Whoever wins this week’s pick ‘em also receives a delicious vagina cupcake from the Erotic Bakery down the street, paid for by the loser. Let the game begin.

Arizona (+8) over Washington – Kurt Warner will play.
Atlanta (+8) over New Orleans – Atlanta’s D will keep them close.
Baltimore (-3) over Buffalo – Baltimore’s D will outscore Buffalo’s O.
Minnesota (+9 ½) over Dallas – All hail Purple Jesus.
New England (-16 ½) over Miami – Ridiculous.
New York (-9) over San Francisco – In Trent Dilfer’s second year, coaches had him tested for color blindness because he threw so many interceptions
Tampa Bay (+2) over Detroit – Kitna is a T-Loc.
Tennessee (+1 ½) over Houston – Jeff Fisher is the most underrated coach in the league.
Oakland (-3) over Kansas City – I hate the Chiefs after watching Hard Knocks.
Cincinnati (-6) over NY Jets – How did the Jets make the playoffs last year?
Chicago (+5.5) over Philadelphia – Just a hunch.
Seattle (-8) over St. Louis – The Rams always play the Hawks tough, but I believe in the 12th man this week. I’ll set the over/under for Rams false starts at 5 ½.
Pittsburgh (-3.5) over Denver – Lock of the week.
Jacksonville (+3) over Indianapolis – Maurice Drew is starting to get going.
This means war, Stefan.

Football Picks #5

Once again I am the only person who has posted this week, actually for the last 3 weeks. That's cool, I'm sure everyone else is just busy. Good thing I don't have a life. Last week I went 6-7 (Ouch, again) That brings the overall record to 28-30. I think I should be a sports analysist, or I should work in Vegas. This is definitely one surprising season so far with teams that were supposed to be bad doing decently (Texans, Chiefs, Buccaneers, Browns). Then you have teams that are just sucking (Minnesota, New Orleans, Cincinnati). It is also a dangerous time to be a QB (Trent Green, Matt Lienart, Kurt Warner, Jack Delhomme). On the other hand let's here it for the QB that are playing at the age of like 60 (Testaverde, Favre, Frerotte, ok so he isn't as old as the rest but you get the point). So without further ado, here are my picks. I inhale deeply and cross my fingers...
Washington (-8) over Arizona
New Orleans (-8) over Atlanta (Leftwich will bring something different, but he won't change the result)
Baltimore (-3) over Buffalo (After that MNF game I am Bills fan. I like Edwards and Lynch, the Pac-10 combo, but they will lose)
Dallas (-9.5) over Minnesota
New England (-16.5) over Miami (How sweet would it be if Miami wins?)
NY Giants (-9) over San Francisco
Tampa Bay (+2) over Detroit
Houston (+1.5) over Tennessee
Kansas City (+3) over Oakland
Cincinnati (-6) over NY Jets
Chicago (+5.5) over Philadelphia
Seattle (-8) over St.Louis (Actually nervous about this one with how the Hawks have been playing, hopefully Alexander will get more than 20 yards)
Pittsburgh (-3.5) over Denver
Jacksonville (+3) over Indianapolis (This one is a stretch but it would also be sweet.)

Let's see what happens...
